Today is our first day of soccer!!
August 31st, 5:30-7:30 at Barendse Park in Hubbard (NOT Clark Park)
-Bring to every practice: water bottle, cleats, shin guards, soccer ball, jersey
-If
you need cleats and shin guards, The OC Locker Room is a great
resource. They have a great selection and everything is free. They are
open Wednesday and Saturday mornings – check the website for more info! Theoclockerroom.org
-These
are our age groups this year: 4-5, 6-8, 8-10, 10-11, 12-13, 13-18.
There will be 2 teams at each age bracket, except for the oldest group, which will be separated into 3 teams. (Once the season begins,
there may be situations where a child needs to move to a different age
bracket, and we’ll address those on a case by case basis.)
-At
the first practice, we will have a registration table set up near the
playground. You’ll check in with us and get name tags, jerseys (if
needed), and find out which field your children are playing on. Practice
starts at 5:30 on August 31st, and we will be there to register kids as
early as 5:15.
NOTE:
If you know of anyone who is interested in being a referee, we are
still looking for a few refs for ages 10+. If you are a parent, it would fulfill your
volunteer job for the league. If you are not a parent, the league will
give a stipend for being a referee. Contact us if you know of someone
who might be interested in refereeing.

Starting September 17th, PRACTICES continue every Thursday, 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Starting September 19th, GAMES continue every Saturday morning (game time TBD)
September 17th 5:30pm Line Judge training
September 17th 6pm Team Parent meeting
September 19th First Game
October 29th Final Practice
October 31st Final Game
