General Information

Dress Code and Conduct

We ask that everyone come dressed modestly. No spaghetti strap tank tops. Clothing should properly cover your midriff and lower back. No short-shorts. If your hair is longer than shoulder length then it should be tied back. Jewelry should be removed in order to participate in practices and games.

Bad language is not permitted, and we ask all players to be supportive and uplifting toward their team members. Coaches have the authority to remove a player or parent from a practice or game. Remember we want to glorify God in all of our actions, both on the field and off.

Weather Cancellations

In general, we do not cancel for weather. It has happened, but very rarely. Any weather cancellations will be posted on the blog. Coaches and Team Parents will be notified so that they can contact their teams. As always, it is up to the parent's discretion to determine whether they feel it is safe for their players to play. A parent can always decide to keep a player from practice even if the teams are practicing. Additionally, a coach can cancel a practice just for one team, but they need to notify the families directly.

Volunteer Requirements and Policies

This is a family-run league, and we depend on volunteers to make it happen.  We need involvement from all families. Families that are unable to provide a volunteer will need to pay at $35 Opt Out fee per player. This will be used to hire people to fill positions that cannot be filled with volunteers.

These are the volunteer positions we need to be filled: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Team Parent, Referee, Line Judge, Field Painting

*An older child, grandparent, aunt, etc can fill these roles - it is not limited to just parents.

Please note: If you are selected as a Head Coach, all the players in your family will receive a 50% discount off the registration fee (this does not apply to Jersey cost).  The refunds will be made after the 2nd week of the season.

For child safety and as a requirement for insurance, we will run a background check on all coaches. Additionally, all volunteers need to read this document: Goals_Volunteer Requirements and Policies.  The volunteers need to ensure they meet all requirement and also understand and will comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the document.

It is up to the parent completing the registration to ensure the volunteers provided by their family have read, understand, and will comply with all the Policies and procedures outlined in the Volunteer Requirements and Policies document.

Volunteer Job Descriptions

  • Head Coach - Is responsible for guiding all the players and teaching them the sport of soccer.
  • Assistant Coach - Supports the Head Coach in all aspects and can fill in for the Head Coach when necessary.
  • Team Parent - Coordinates team pictures, arranges end of season Party, and communicates with the team.
  • Referee - A very necessary role for all teams age 9 and up.
  • Line Judge - A very necessary and fairly easy job. A line judge stands on one side of the field and helps the referee identify which team kicked the ball out, and therefore which team gets the throw in. Front row viewing of the game!
  • Field Painting - This job occurs every week or as needed, to go over the field lines so we can clearly see the boundaries. Generally each family will do this once or twice. We provide the cart and the paint for you to use.

Concussion Education, Awareness, & Action Program

In order to receive insurance, we are required to implement a Concussion Awareness and Action Plan.

Please become familiar with this Concussion Action Plan.
Parents & Coaches' signature will be required following you have read this information. Please print & return to Head Coach.

If you are interested in taking a free Concussion Course, please go to the Heads Up to Youth Online Training from the CDC.

It is important to note that the Action plan outlines the requirements for Parents/Guardians and Coaches. It is REQUIRED that each student have a parent or guardian at each practice and game. This becomes more important now that there are specific actions to be fulfilled by a parent in the event of a head injury involving their player.
